Nevada politicians from both sides of the political aisle are both cheering and condemning President Trump’s executive order to gut the Department of Education.
President Trump just announced that the Department of Education's useful functions such as Pell Grants, Title 1 funding, and resources for children with disabilities will be FULLY preserved and moved to other agencies and departments.
Strong statement from @NVGOPSenate leader @drrobintitus in support of Trump moving to shut down DoE.
Points out the obvious. Nevada education stinks and "change needs to happen."
